Federal law enforcement agencies launched a major coordinated operation early Sunday morning in Colorado Springs, targeting a nightclub linked to Tren de Aragua gang members and arresting over 100 illegal immigrants. The raid, led by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Rocky Mountain Division, involved support from the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice.
Footage released by the DEA showed agents entering the underground nightclub and securing a large number of individuals. According to officials, in addition to the arrests, authorities seized quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, and “pink cocaine,” along with weapons. The bust underscores the aggressive approach federal agencies are taking under President Trump’s administration to dismantle criminal networks operating within the United States.
Stephen Miller, a senior adviser to the president, confirmed the raid, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to cracking down on illegal gang activities. “Early this morning, DOJ and DHS launched a joint raid of an illegal alien underground nightclub used by TDA in Colorado,” Miller stated, hinting that more enforcement actions would follow.
Attorney General Pam Bondi further detailed the operation, explaining that the club was frequented not only by Tren de Aragua members but also by MS-13 affiliates. Bondi noted that two individuals apprehended during the raid were arrested on existing warrants, signaling that law enforcement efforts are targeting both immigration violations and broader criminal behavior. “As we approach his 100 days in office, President Trump’s directive to make America safe again is achieving results,” Bondi said.
The operation demonstrated the administration’s expanded strategy of leveraging multiple agencies, including less traditional partners. Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin highlighted the presence of agents from the U.S. Postal Service Police and IRS Criminal Investigations units, working alongside ICE, DEA, and FBI teams. The “whole-of-government” approach represents a shift toward more comprehensive enforcement against illegal immigration and organized crime.
The Department of Homeland Security echoed this message in a public statement: “The party is OVER. Law and order has returned. Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem, we are taking a whole-of-government approach to removing criminal illegal aliens from American communities.”
Sunday’s raid follows another major enforcement effort, Operation Tidal Wave, which unfolded in Florida over the course of four days and resulted in the apprehension of approximately 800 illegal immigrants. Together, these operations illustrate a rapidly intensifying federal crackdown aimed at restoring security and reasserting the rule of law in cities across the nation.
The decisive action taken in Colorado Springs reflects a broader national trend toward reclaiming public spaces from violent transnational gangs and reinforcing America’s commitment to law, order, and national sovereignty.
