President-elect Donald Trump announced his strong support for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to retain his leadership role as Republicans prepare to wield their slim majority in the House of Representatives.
Trump’s endorsement came after speculation that some within the GOP might challenge Johnson’s speakership.
