Alec Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were both criminally charged on Tuesday in relation to the shooting incident on the set of “Rust,” which resulted in the death of Halyna Hutchins.
The actor was accused of two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the alternative, as court documents acquired by Fox News Digital revealed.
Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer of “Rust,” was also charged with similar offenses.
The New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney’s Office first announced the charges against Alec Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed back in January. The DA has stated that the two defendants will be expected to attend a virtual initial hearing after they are summonsed, typically within a few days.
