Longtime host of CNN’s longest running show “Reliable Sources,” Brian Stelter has ousted from CNN, after his ultra left-leaning show has been losing viewers for the past two years.

CNN’s new boss, Chris Licht has been evaluating personalities within the network, trying to tone down the hyper-partisan rhetoric that CNN has become to be known for.

Stelter was informed of the cancelation of his show, and his employment, on Wednesday. According to a CNN spokesperson, “CNN will end its Reliable Sources program on Sunday, August 21st. As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors.”

In a statement to NPR, Stelter wrote, “It was a rare privilege to lead a weekly show focused on the press at a time when it has never been more consequential.”

According to Fox News, “Stelter developed a reputation as a left-wing pundit who spent much of his airtime criticizing conservative media. He was recently called out in a report about an attempt to restore the organization’s nonpartisan approach as the “face of the network’s liberal shift” in the eyes of conservatives.”

Ever since Biden took office, Brian’s show floundered and ultimately failed to obtain an audience. In fact 2022 was the lowest-rated year for “Reliable Resources.”
