With the Midterms behind us, Americans are looking toward the 2024 General Election, prompting Democrats to publicly call for former Vice President Joe Biden to not run again.
RootsAction, a self-proclaimed “progressive group that helped defeat Trump, aired a recent advertisement in New Hampshire showcases various self-proclaimed Democrats begging Joe Biden to not run again. Throughout the two-minute spot, Biden’s low approval numbers are highlighted as reasons for the Democrat Party to choose a different candidate.
The ad calls the President “status Quo Joe.” It also bluntly says, “if he runs, the election is at serious risk.” At one point, the ad displays Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which is an apparent recognition of DeSantis’ likelihood of being the GOP’s choice for President.
