According to Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, Elon Musk will be placed on the company’s board, after it was made public that Musk is now a 9.2% stakeholder in the notoriously-liberal social media service.
I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board.

Musk responded on Twitter with enthusiasm.
Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months!

Many on the right have noted Musk’s interest in Twitter, as he has publically complained about Twitter’s censorship of opinions and news stories. Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch asked Musk to investigate “fraudulent censorship policies.”
.@ElonMusk, as a member of @Twitter's board of directors, should demand full investigation of @Twitter's illicit and fraudulent censorship policies. The evidence shows @Twitter has lied to shareholders, Congress, users, and public about its censorship targeting conservatives.
