In an interview with NBC News, Pennsylvania Lt. Governor and Democratic Senate Candidate John Fetterman, claimed he was fit to serve, while he had to use closed captioning just to understand the questions being asked.

In the video posted to NBC Nightly News with Lest Holt’s Twitter account, Fetterman discusses how his auditory processing abilities have been damaged, after having suffered a stroke while on the campaign trail.

As he was being asked questions, he continuously referred to the screen to determine exactly what was being said.

The Senate race is now a tossup between he and Dr. Oz. If Fetterman loses, it would help swing the power within the Senate toward the Republicans.
