Texas Governor Greg Abbott gave Washington, D.C., a fair warning during Monday’s press conference. The 45 busloads of illegal immigrants already sent to D.C. may turn into 450.
“We’re up to our 45th bus now; when you add a zero to that, I think that Washington D.C. is going to soon find out they’re going to be dealing with the same consequences we’re dealing with,” he warned.
The Republican leader hammered the Administration’s lack of action about the thousands of illegal immigrants crossing the Rio Grande. Abbott pointed out that the drug cartels wanted immigrants to cross the river and keep border patrol agents busy. Therefore, the cartels were unhindered in their drug transport businesses.

The Epoch Times reported that border agents apprehended more than 94,000 illegal immigrants from January through April in the El Paso sector. During the same time, in 2021, the number was 63,000.
The New York Post reported that the Customs and Border Protection recorded a record high of 234,088 repeat and unique encounters along the southern border last month. Under Title 42, 97,000 were removed. However, the rest entered the U.S.
“We are dealing with a crisis that is man-made by President Biden,” the governor said. “Who doesn’t want to take the time to even come to the border or talk to the governor of a border state,” he concluded.
Abbott made it plain. Illegal immigration is not just a Texas problem. New Mexico, Arizona and California have all seen drastic increases in illegal activity.
