On Sunday, Biden’s former press secretary Jen Psaki said if the midterm election s are about Biden, the Democrats will lose.
Psaki made her comments during Sunday’s episode of NBC’s “Meet the Press.” She said, “If it is a referendum on the president, they will lose. And they know that. They also know that crime is a huge vulnerability for Democrats, I would say one of the biggest vulnerabilities.”

She suggested Democrats should focus on outspoken Republicans such as Kevin McCarthy and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
There are those on the right who believe the midterms will be more about a comparison between Biden and Trump. Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania on September 3rd, Trump said “This election is a referendum on skyrocketing inflation, rampant crime, soaring murders, crushing gas prices, millions and millions of illegal aliens pouring across our border, race and gender indoctrination, converting our schools.”
He also said, “And above all, this election is a referendum on the corruption and extremism of Joe Biden and the radical Democrat Party.”
