Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, on Sunday called for Former Vice President Biden to “resign in disgrace,” after the world watched 20-years of US-led effort dissolve in a matter of days.
In a statement, Trump said, “It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy.”
This could become Fall of Saigon 2.0 or worse — the Fall of Kabul and the massive throngs of people trying to flee at Kabul Airport. Can’t blame them. Where are the international support to send passenger jets to airlift them all out?! #Kabul pic.twitter.com/GamVlDejdJ

Republicans have slammed Former Vice President Biden for his handling of the crisis, with many noting that the rapid decay we are witnessing could have been prevented with a more organized withdrawal.
Describing his perspective of the situation in Afghanistan, Representative Michael McCaul (R-TX) called the withdrawal is “an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions.”
