Arizona Attorney General Sues Biden Admin Over ‘Heavy-Handed’ Immigration Orders

Arizona’s Attorney General, Mark Brnovich, is filing a lawsuit against the Biden Administration and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over Biden’s immigration executive orders.

Brnovich will ask the court to overturn Biden’s executive orders to stop the construction of the border wall and put Trump’s ‘remain in Mexico’ policy back in place.

Brnovich is alleging that Biden’s immigration orders violated the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), which requires federal agencies to consider environmental implications before taking any federal action.

According to Brnovich’s office, DHS officials did not provide environmental assessments after deciding to halt the construction of the border wall.

It’s the pinnacle of hypocrisy for the Biden Administration to claim it wants to protect our environment, while not enforcing federal statutes that are specifically designed for that purpose,” Brnovich said in a statement on Monday.

We’re not going to sit idly by as the Biden Administration ignores real harms to our state resulting from its heavy-handed executive orders,” The Attorney General added.
