On Sunday, the Disney corporation ousted CEO Bob Chapek as the company’s stock has nosedived after becoming increasingly and blatantly woke.

Disney re-hired Bob Iger (71), who had served as the company’s CEO for 15 years. During his tenure, he had mentored Chapek to be his replacement.

In a statement, Disney Chairman Susan Arnold said, “We thank Bob Chapek for his service to Disney over his long career, including navigating the company through the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic.”

Iger announced his rejoining the company via email on Sunday. He said, “When I look at the creative success of our teams across our Studios, Disney General Entertainment, ESPN and International, the rapid growth of our streaming services, the phenomenal reimagining and rebound of our Parks, the continued great work of ABC News, and so many other achievements across our businesses, I am in awe of your accomplishments and I am excited to embark with you on many new endeavors.”

“I know this company has asked so much of you during the past three years, and these times certainly remain quite challenging, but as you have heard me say before, I am an optimist.”

Earlier this year, Disney alienated huge swaths of their core market (parents), after Disney had gone head-to-head with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Disney publicly denounced and fought a new Florida law that prohibited schools from introducing and discussing sexual topics with children as young as five.

As a result, DeSantis and Florida legislature removed the company’s 1960’s-era Reedy Creek Improvement District.

The company has also seen a continued decline in stock valuation. In just this past year, Disney has seen a 40% decline in stock price.

Other actions Disney that have distanced their conservative base include a lesbian kiss in this year’s “Lightyear” movie, the purchasing of tampons by transgender characters, executive producer saying she wants to institute “not-at-all secret gay agenda,” promoting leftist ESG initiatives and an ongoing parade of woke themes.
