The fifth-richest person in the world, Bill Gates, is now claiming the world is entering the “worst part of the pandemic.”
The former chief software architect announced his dark prediction of the world’s future in a Tweet saying, “Just when it seemed like life would return to normal, we could be entering the worst part of the pandemic. Omicron will hit home for all of us. Close friends of mine now have it, and I’ve canceled most of my holiday plans.”

Omicron has become a concern for health officials, with many claiming it is a highly contagious variant of COVID-19. Gate’s predictions follow on the heels of similarily-dark predictions coming out of the White House, which foretold of “a winter of severe illness and death” for the unvaccinated.
The White House released their doomsday prediction on Monday, saying “We are intent on not letting omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You’ve done the right thing, and we will get through this. For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.”
