“I Wouldn’t Want To Estimate Or Underestimate Donald Trump,” Says White House Chief Of Staff

Speaking with Axios on Sunday, Ron Klain, White House Chief of Staff, said he would not want to “estimate or underestimate” Trump in a 2024 election.

It must be noted that Trump has yet to announce his intent of running for President again. Although, he has publically mused about the idea, and has stated he is waiting ’till after the midterm elections to make a final decision.

Klain said to Axios, “I wouldn’t want to estimate or underestimate Donald Trump as an opponent if he chooses to run. My experience … is that incumbent presidents are judged on their record. Kalan says Biden “is hopefully assembling a powerful record to run on if he runs for reelection in 2024.”

When asked about who would be a potential running mate if there were to be a Trump 2024 ticket, Donald Trump noted the success of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump said, “I endorsed Ron, and after I endorsed him, he took off like a rocketship. He’s done a great job as governor. I’m saying what I read and what you read, they love that ticket. Certainly, Ron would be considered. He’s a great guy.”

Those within the Republican party are already speculating who else would be a potential Presidential candidate, which includes: Senator Tim Scott, Governor Kristi Noem, and Senator Josh Hawley.

Biden, when asked if he plans on running again for President in 2024 said, “My plan is to run for reelection. That’s my expectation. I’m a great respecter of fate. I’ve never been able to plan four-and-a-half, three-and-a-half years ahead for certain.”
