On Friday, the elderly Former Vice President Joe Biden reaffirmed his faith in Dr. Tony Fauci.
This comes after thousands of Fauci’s emails were leaked to the public. Speaking in Delaware, Biden said, “Yes, I’m very confident in Dr. Fauci.”
The public nature of the aging Former Vice President’s proclamation of faith comes in the wake of many Republicans calling for the removal of the non-practicing doctor, saying the emails prove his actions and stances towards COVID have been questionable.
Senator Josh Hawley took to twitter on Friday, blasting Fauci and called for Fauci’s resignation and a full Congressional investigation into Fauci’s activities.

Representative Mo Brooks also called for Fauci’s immediate removal saying, “Dr. Fauci has been wrong about COVID-19 every step of the way, and he needs to be held accountable. He has no business working on behalf of the American people. Fauci should be fired immediately.”
The emails in question come from a trove of emails made public through Buzz Feed. The emails show Fauci frantically working to respond to allegations that COVID-19 had originated from a Chinese lab.
