During a press conference on Thursday, Republican representatives Jim Jordan and James Comer claimed Biden, along with his son Hunter, was actively involved in overseas business dealings.
Republicans have claimed they have discovered evidence proving the former Vice President has defrauded the United states and violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Other allegations include money laundering, tax evasion and other crimes.
Comer said “This is an investigation of Joe Biden.”

Referencing whistleblowers, Comer said the Biden family “flourished and became millionaires by simply offering access to the family.” He also said, “Was Joe Biden directly involved with Hunter Biden’s business deals and is he compromised? That’s our investigation.”
Republicans are expected to release a report, noting what they describe as “waste, fraud and abuse.”
