White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre was roundly blasted online after she yelled at journalists in the White House press pool during Dr. Fauci’s visit to the White House.

The events unfolded Tuesday during a White House press event featuring the government’s highest-paid employee.

Nearly every question asked and answered revolved around Dr. Fauci’s opinion and guidance of COVID vaccines. However, when Daily Caller White House correspondent Diana Glebova tried to ask a question regarding COVID’s origins, Jean-Pierre immediately interrupted the event and began saying the press was being “disrespectful.”

She said, “We have a process here. I’m not calling out on people who yell. And you’re being, you’re being, you’re being disrespectful to your colleagues, and you’re being disrespectful to our guest. I will not call on you if you yell, and also you’re taking time off the clock because Dr. Fauci has to leave in a couple of minutes.”

Other reporters in the room began supporting Glebova, saying the press has the right to ask the question. In response, an exasperated Jean-Pierre began yelling at reporters, eventually saying, “…I’m done with you.”

Social media was quick to criticize the press secretary for her emotional outburst.

Fauci has served as one the government’s highest-paid employees and is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Chief of Medical Advisor to the President.
