The Rift Between Trump and Musk Continues – Trump Blasts Musk & Musk Backs DeSantis

Billionaire Elon Musk, after getting into a public spat with President Donald Trump, has all but officially thrown his support for the 2024 Presidential race behind Florida Ron DeSantis.

When asked to give his “take” on who would win the Republican candidacy in a faceoff between Trump and DeSantis, Musk responded, “If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign.”

Musk’s announcement follows Trump’s criticism of Musk, calling him “another bulls*** artist,” during a rally in Alaska.

Musk had responded to Trump’s comments on Twitter saying, “I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset.” Musk went on to say, “Dems should also call of the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.”

The rift between Musk and Trump is becoming more apparent. On Tuesday, Trump went after Musk on Truth social saying, “When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, ‘drop to your knees and beg,’ and he would have done it.”

Trump followed up on his post saying, “…Now Elon should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he could owe $44 billion for something that’s perhaps worthless. Also, lots of competition for electric cars!”
