Trump Offers Support and Assistance to East Palestine Following Train Derailment

In the midst of a train derailment and subsequent chemical fallout in the small rust belt town of East Palestine, Ohio, former President Donald Trump is expected to make an appearance on Wednesday.

Trump, according to Fox News, is expected to bring “thousands of gallons of cleaning supplies and more than a dozen pallets of water.” He is also expected to meet with members of the community who have had to live in the aftermath of toxic chemicals being burned in the city.

Former President, Donald Trump will be accompanied by a group of notable individuals during his visit to East Palestine. These include East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway, Republican Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, Republican Ohio Representative Bill Johnson, State Representative Monica Robb-Blasdel and Ohio State Senator Michael Rulli. Other local and statewide officials are also expected to join the former president during his visit.

Following a recent train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, former President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the small community located along the Ohio-Pennsylvania border. The Norfolk Southern Railroad train was carrying vinyl chloride and approximately 50 cars derailed on February 3rd. Trump’s planned visit is expected to address the aftermath of this incident.
