Trump Thinking About Starting A Social Media Company, Says Senior Advisor

Jason Miller, Senior Advisor to Donal Trump, told Breitbart News Saturday that Trump is in the process of deciding which social media platform to appear on. This decision also includes the possibility of starting his own social media platform.

“I would expect that we will see the president reemerge on social media,” Miller said. “Whether that’s joining an existing platform or creating his new platform, there are a number of different options and a number of different meetings that they’ve been having on that front. Nothing is imminent on that.”

Donald Trump was removed from major social media platforms following the January 6th Capitol breach. Social media companies claimed the reason why they removed him is that Trump was inciting violence and spreading misinformation.

This week, rumors started circulating that the former President had joined the conservative-leaning social media platform “Gab.” However, it was confirmed by Gab personnel that the President had not officially joined their platform.

The mention of Trump thinking about starting his own social media company is the first time someone close to the Trump campaign had confirmed the matter so bluntly. However, nothing is confirmed, yet.
