In a Quinnipiac University poll is causing frustration among Democrats, as Former Vice President Biden (who had earlier this year fallen up the stairs of Air Force One), is seeing his poll numbers drop.

Based on 1,326 interviews with voters, the poll report indicated Biden 53% disapproval and 38% approval.

Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, talked about the “headwinds” (AKA problems) that Biden’s unpopularity is causing his election campaign.

Speaking on a zoom meeting, McAuliffe said,  “As you know, the president is unpopular today, unfortunately, here in Virginia so we have got to plow through.”

In an attempt to clarify McAuliffe’s statements, one of his spokespeople said, “Terry’s point was clearly that Democrats can’t take anything for granted and must turn out to vote this year: Glenn Youngkin is running on a divisive, Trumpian agenda that puts election conspiracy theories and banning abortion first.”
