Government Watchdog Group Uncovers Evidence Indicating a “Conspiracy” Between Biden Campaign, California Officials, and Big Tech to Censor 2020 Election Posts

Government watchdog group, Judicial Watch, announced that it found evidence that California officials colluded with ‘Big Tech’ social media companies to censor specific posts regarding the 2020 presidential election.

Judicial Watch said that it found the information after requesting over 540 pages of documents from the office of California’s Secretary of State. The open records request was filed in December of 2020 after a report surfaced indicating that California’s Office of Election Cybersecurity had monitored social media sites and requested the companies remove or flag specific posts as “misleading.”

Jenna Dresner, a senior public information officer for the Office of Election Cybersecurity disputed the report in December, stating, “we don’t take down posts, that is not our role to play.”

We alert potential sources of misinformation to the social media companies and we let them make that call based on community standards they created,” Dresner added.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said that SKDKnickerbocker censored posts by sharing its “Misinformation Daily Briefings” with California Officials, who passed the briefings to Facebook, Twitter, and Google for widespread distribution.

SKDKnickerbocker is a communications company that is linked to President Joe Biden’s election campaign.

These new documents suggest a conspiracy against the First Amendment rights of Americans by the California Secretary of State, the Biden campaign operation, and Big Tech,” the president of the watchdog group said.

These documents blow up the big lie that Big Tech censorship is ‘private’ as the documents show collusion between a whole group of government officials in multiple states to suppress speech about election controversies,” Fitton added.
