Of the notable Democrats implicated in the released communications, Arizona Governor-elect and Secretary of State Katie Hobbs had contacted a 501 nonprofit called the Centor of Internet Security (CIS) to remove a Twitter profile for “election related misinformation.”

The request was made through Hobbs’ Secretary of State office. Included in the request was a worker at the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency.

The employee at Twitter responded with “Thank you… Both tweets have been removed from the service.”

Hobbs has recently won the Arizona Governor seat in a very contested election. Her Republican challenger Karri Lake has not conceded the election. She also characterized the leaks about Hobbs as a “conflict of interest, coercion, corruption.”
