Now that Joe Biden is President, we can expect Joe Biden, today, to sign 17 executive actions and orders.
It is speculated that these actions and orders will reverse Trump’s policies, as well as revive several policies from the Obama-era.
According to the new White House press secretary Jen Psaki, Joe’s hurry to sign this many actions and orders are meant to keep Biden’s promise of “moving the country forward.”
It is still unclear as to what “moving the country forward” really means.
Below are some of the actions and orders that are expected today:
- Stop funding the border wall construction
- Rejoin the Pair Climate Accord
- Extend eviction and foreclosure moratoriums
- Ethics Pledge: “Restore and maintain public trust and government”
