Around 1:00am on Wednesday, “Chief Twit” Elon Musk replied to Yoel Roth, Twitter’s Head of Safety & Integrity, saying he spoke to various so-called “civil society leaders,” “about how Twitter will continue to combat hate & harassment & enforce its election integrity policies.”
Talked to civil society leaders @JGreenblattADL, @YaelEisenstat, @rashadrobinson, @JGo4Justice, @normanlschen, @DerrickNAACP, @TheBushCenter Ken Hersch & @SindyBenavides about how Twitter will continue to combat hate & harassment & enforce its election integrity policies

Elon followed up this tweet with announcements regarding de-platformed accounts and a moderation council.
Twitter will not allow anyone who was de-platformed for violating Twitter rules back on platform until we have a clear process for doing so, which will take at least a few more weeks
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 2, 2022
Twitter's content moderation council will include representatives with widely divergent views, which will certainly include the civil rights community and groups who face hate-fueled violence
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 2, 2022
According to Musk, previously de-platformed accounts will not be put back on Twitter until a process is created. Musk anticipates this will take “at least a few more weeks.”
Musk also confirmed Twitter’s content moderation council will remain active, however it will include people with “divergent views.” He specifically said the council will include members of “civil rights community and groups who face hate-fueled violence.”
In his tweet Elon tagged nine people, signaling who those “leaders” are. They are:
- Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League
- Yael Eisenstat, VP of the Anti-Defamation League
- Rashad Robinson, President of Color Of Change
- Jessica Gonzalez, CO-CEO of FreePress
- Norman Chen, CEO of The Asian American Foundation
- Derrick Johnson, President and CEO of NAACP
- The George W. Bush Presidential Center
- Kenneth Hersh of NGP Energy Capital Management
- Sindy Benavides CEO of League of United Latin American Citizens
Responding to Musk’s tweet, many conservative voices pointed out that conservative voices were primarily targeted by Twitter. And, the announcement made by Musk signals an intention for it to continue.
The *only* people ever attacked or structurally abused on Twitter were conservatives. And the abuse came from far-left Twitter staff. Name a single account from the Left that was censored or wrongfully depltformed?
Yet your friends at the @TheBabylonBee are still locked out

This is laughable – more of the same. All far left fanatics who hate Conservatives (the only group targeted at Twitter) No Conservative voices, no Average Joes.
Get ready Conservatives to be targeted still.
