As reported on Thursday, actor Ray Liotta has died at age 67.
Confirmed by publicist Jennifer Allen, Liotta died in his sleep while in the Dominican Republic. He was in the process of filming a movie titled “Dangerous Waters.”
Liotta was a well-known actor, known for roles such as the role in Martin Scorsese’s mob film “Goodfellas.” He was also part of television series such as “Shades of Blue.”
He is survived by his fiancee Jacy Nittolo and daughter Karsen Liotta.
Lorraine Bracco, an actress who had played his wife in “Goodfellas,” tweeted, “I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie,” she wrote. “My response has always been the same…Ray Liotta.”
