Pelosi Now Says Trump May Be An Accessory To Murder For Alleged Role In Capitol Breach

In an obvious increase in political rhetoric, Nancy Pelosi has now upped her accusations against Trump, accusing the 45th President as potentially being charged as an accessory to murder.

Speaking on MSNBC on Wednesday, Pelosi said, “When we talk about ‘did any of our colleagues collaborate? Well, that remains to be seen. We have to get the evidence of that. And if they did, they would be accessory to the crime. And the crime, in some cases, was murder.”

Later in the interview, she clarified as to exactly who could be responsible for such a heavy charge and she said, “And this president is an accessory to that crime because he instigated that insurrection that caused those deaths and this destruction.”

Pelosi’s comments come in reference to the January 6th breach of the Capitol that followed a speech made by President Trump. Pelosi asserts that Trump’s comments inspired the violence, which is now being referred to by many in the media as an insurrection.

During the Capitol breach, five people died, including an officer who was hit on the head with a fire extinguisher and a civilian who was shot by Capitol police.

Currently, it remains to be seen if the Senate will move forward with an impeachment trial of the now-previous President Trump.
